Buchhorn from Lautenbach in Würtemberg to America

The Württemberg emigration files were very helpful for researching that family. Those files reports:

In 1849 the following people applied for emigration:
Georg Michael F. Buchhorn from Lautenbach
Anna Catharina Buchhorn from Lautenbach
Jacob Heinrich Buchhorn, born 10th of March 1840 in Lautenbach

Also mentioned is the disreict of Crailsheim. Lautenbach and Wildenstein are neighboring towns and are located on the Swabian Alb. Crailsheim is not very far either. Should there be any family ties to the emigrants from Murrhardt? Those emigrants went to Michigan.

Lautenbach

The son's date of birth was given in the emigration files, 10th of March 1840.
The church registers of the protestant church in Wildenstein report about the baptism:

Jacob Heinrich Buchhorn, born 10th of March 1840, baptised on 15th of March 1840.
The parents were Georg Michael Buchhorn, day labourer, and Anna Christina Buchhorn.

The maiden name of the mother ist hardly to read. It seems to start with Ha. There could be an m or u. With a lot of imagination, I would say Hauens.

In same church registers is also something to find about the baptism of the father Georg Michael Buchhorn, who was born on 30th of August 1801 and was baptised on 31th of August 1801. The parents were Johann Georg Buchhorn and Eva Katharina Buchhorn, nee Waldmanin (Probably).

The marriage is also documented:

Marriage between Georg Wilhelm(?) Buchhorn, born 30th of August 1801, and Anna Catharina Hammerer (Now we also know the maiden name of the wife.), born 20th of Dezember 1812.
The marriage took place on the 22nd of July 1834.

About the emigration can be read in the index of the passenger and immigration lists:

Arrival in Amerca in 1849.
The emigrants were: Georg Michael F. Buchhorn (with wife and child), Anna Catharina Buchhorn und Jacob Heinrich Buchhorn.

So, the impotatnt things were found. Now the search for the family's whereabouts in America began, but as hard as I tried, there was nothing to be found. I looked in Canada and the USA and, in my desperation, also in Australia. I tried name variations, but nothing appeared that seemed familiar.

Now it is your turn, dear readers.
Who know more? I wait for you.
